Welcome to Exceptional Family Network
Exceptional Family Network(Exfan) is non profit making organization bringing together families with intellectually disabled children and help them understand how to live positively with these type of children. Founded in 1994 under Mr. Edward Babumba’s stewardship. He started the organization as away to help other parents who were struggling to navigate the complicated world of raising children with developmental disabilities in Uganda. Ever since it has gone through ups and downs guided by its Vision, Mission and the core values
BACKGROUND
In the 1990s, the absentia of an organisation or organisations in Uganda that could suit the demands of the vulnerable and the academically challenged contributed and still contributes to high levels of knowledge gap among them. Like Stella Nantogo who inspired us to start Exceptional Family Network.

The Green Acres Centre is Located in the heart of Masaka 6kms off Edward’s avenue, is the centre of holistic growth, and a centre which helps someone with and without developmental disabilities grow holistically through a number of programs and activities
