At the Green Acres Centre, children who are intellectually challenged are also taught to observe and appreciate the significance of soil, this is done practically through different demonstration gardens as you can see in the images below.

Poultry project
Duo purpose
Some Innovations have a timely landing; this is what has happened with the poultry innovation Madam Ann created at Green Acres Primary School. The project is serving two major roles; learning aid and Nutrition supplementation. The project started as a joke but now it has reached more than 300 laying birds. This has made it possible for each school going child at Green Acres Center to have an egg every day. This has helped in enhancing the nutrition at the center, thanks to Madam Ann for the innovation.
Children with and without intellectual disabilities enjoy feeding and cleaning the chicken house. Hence giving a very good learning opportunity for the learners at the center
Purchase of new land
Green Acres Center Buyanja has expanded! The land close to 6 acres has been finally purchased by the founding director of Green Acres Center in Year 2022 (May – June). Thanks be to God that as a center we have expanded. This land is proposed to expand the sports arena and also to house the Green Acres High School Buyanja which is currently being hosted at the primary section.
This land is also going to expand the special needs section of Green Acres Primary school Buyanja. Photos speak more than words, lets us take a pictorial tour of this land.
